Shannon Smith NBC-HWC

I've been battling the harrowing symptoms of endometriosis since 1995. Conventional medicine, with its myriads of drugs, not only failed me but arguably worsened my health. Since then, I became a believer in Christ as an adult and fiercely pursued integrative medicine as a possible avenue of healing. Desperate and determined, through the grace of God, without any medical intervention—just pure, fervent prayer—I was miraculously healed from all symptoms from 2008 to 2011.

But in 2010, two traumatic events shattered my peace, and the endo symptoms roared back with a vengeance at the beginning of 2011. Since then, my life has been a whirlwind. I underwent two surgeries that the medical community would deem successful merely because I survived. To me, they were only somewhat helpful; the excruciating gush of blood stopped, but it never truly ceased.

The symptoms I endured were nothing short of a nightmare: chronic fatigue, uncontrollable bleeding that ruined clothes, restless legs, a relentless clawing sensation throughout my abdomen, a crushing weight pushing my insides out, extreme temperature fluctuations, fainting, vomiting, sleepless nights, agonizing diarrhea, painful breasts, violent mood swings, depression, and anxiety.

It wasn't until 2019 that I began to truly understand my body, uncover the reasons behind my symptoms, and identify my triggers. I firmly believe God is guiding me through this process, healing me more profoundly than ever before. This tumultuous journey ignited my passion to help others facing endo. Awareness of the disease alone will not fix it. Coming together to work through every faucet of our lives will.

Since 2021, I've managed to balance my hormones through diet. Stress is a formidable trigger for me. I'm learning to find my voice amidst the pain, discerning when to confront tough issues or simply let them go. With the pillars of mindset, nutrition and environment, I have successfully rid my body of the symptoms!

There isn't a magic pill or a universal diet that cures endo. But don't lose hope—relief from the symptoms is possible. Many women, including myself, have found it, and I want to help you achieve the relief you need to reclaim a quality life and fall passionately in love with yourself.

Moving forward, I'll share the invaluable insights I've gained from my practitioners and various programs. I'll engage with people who are fully committed—those who are determined to heal, willing to take action, and ready to embrace the changes necessary for a better life.

Forgiving Endo is here to help women with endometriosis, or those who suspect they have it, achieve a pain-free life, fall in love with their bodies, and reignite their passion for living.

I believe in miracles; I've witnessed many in my life and continue to experience them. I will help you create the space for a miracle in your life. I can't wait to watch women grow, heal, and fall in love with themselves.

Our journeys are not easy, nor are they meant to be. But they become infinitely more bearable when we have someone by our side, guiding us toward our destination.
